Student Representative Council

SJLS SRC Induction 1 Sem 1 2012.jpg
The Student Representative Council (SRC) play an important role at St John's. Classes from Reception through to Year 5 elect one boy and one girl to serve on the SRC for one semester.

The SRC meet each week, and these meetings are a time of connection for all the classes where students can share outcomes and talk about issues from their class meetings. They can also plan and discuss various happenings around the school, with the aim of suggesting solutions to these problems and making a difference within the school community.

Through whole school events organised by the SRC, and combined with Chapel offerings, a lot of money is raised for people in need. The SRC students do a wonderful job in helping to organise and run these events, and the school appreciates their efforts and contributions to the school and its community.
