Uniform 
All students from ELC to Year 6 are required to wear the St John's uniform both at school and while travelling to and from school (as prescribed in the School Handbook). ELC children wear the St John's sports uniform. Sports uniform is necessary for sports activities and may be worn to and from school on the day each class has its special sports lesson.

Terms 1 and 4 are summer uniform months, unless we have exceptionally cool weather. If the estimated temperature is 20 degrees or less, winter uniform may be worn in summer terms. Conversely, in Terms 2 and 3, summer uniform may be worn if the estimated temperature is more than 20 degrees.

The School Shop will also be open at various times during the school holidays. Times will be advised in the school newsletter. Parents are encouraged to make an appointment with the School Shop for fittings of new uniforms.

Hats Policy
Hats are to be worn from 1 September  to 30 April, at recess and lunch times and during PE lessons if out in the open.

Naming of Personal Property 
Students need to take proper care of their personal property. To help them in this, parents are asked to ensure that all clothing, books, sporting equipment and other personal belongings are clearly named. We strongly recommend that valuable items are engraved with at least the initials of the owner.
